Well it's been a long time since this blog has been to good use. I know there is alot going on at the place where a serious majority of the people that check this blog work. ;) So.....write on here what you feel so that we can get it out there and off our chests. I love the grays and the way things are right now isn't good for any of us, so speak up!

Long Time No Blog!

Hmmm ok so......I've slackened myself on this blog, But this is a new day and i don't have anything to do tonight so i figured I'd catch up on a few of the things that have been floating around in my head and on my cell phone. So keep your head up for some new biz!

New Month.....New Word!

It's here! That's right its the new word for this month.

Definition: Taking something to the next level.
Examples:
(Gray1) Hey you wanna go eat lunch?
(Gray2) Sure man! should we invite everyone else?
(Gray1) Of course! it's grimmace time!

OK folks now you know it.....Use it! And if your around thegrayshirt at lunch....it's always gonna be grimmace time!

Qualities for the Gray of the Month

I believe the grayshirt employee of the month should have the following qualities: willingness to help out the other grays, have respect for each other and the company, be enjoyable to work with, and look out for each other. We have recently added quite a few new grays and will be having a few more start this coming week. Let’s start them out on the right foot and hopefully shed some of our old habits from the past. I know that sometimes our job is not the most fun, enjoyable and some days almost unbearable but at least we have fellow grays there with us. Peace out (the ghost)

Who's Gonna be the Gray's Employee of the month?

So...... looking at the polls it looks like there will be a new and improved employee of the month. Question is who will it be? Now i ask all of you gray shirts who you would hold as this months employee of the month? And what the prize for winning such an esteemed title should be? Please help me out here. I don't want to be the only person casting a vote! So give me some names and we will post a poll and let everyone decide who it will be.

As you can see by the beauty of this picture that this is the new trend for open empties. you might not wanna try it on residential homes just yet, let it catch then we'll see how many people will pay for this magical new home decor.

Super-D's Last Day

You know him.... he has many names. Gary, Earl, Darryl, Jerry.......even SuperD, that's right Garrick! I was so lucky to work with him on his last day, and can i say that he will be missed! Make sure that when your up in bear lake that you make him buy you a drink and take you out on the lake. Good Luck at your paid vacation this summer G!

The gray shirt is proud to present the newest author to the blog. The gray ghost will bring a different view to the gray shirts, and we hope to hear much more from this mage of the gray!

Raccoons!

It appears we have recently had a few raccoons among us. Unfortunately it seems we have more in common with them than our gray coats (shirts). Raccoons are known thieves and are fascinated by shiny things that don't belong to them. Unfortunately we seem to have some among us who can't seem to keep their paws off of things belonging to others. It may be that these items are supplied by work but some people have had their own personal belongings taken. I know we would all appreciate it if these unfortunate souls would please keep their paws to themselves.

Security!

Security was tight at the wedding that occurred at the wedding not to be missed this weekend! It was said that two of the most intense guards were there to take care of any scuffles that would be. The Leaders from both Mata's Mercenaries and Elwood Hustlers were the top securities at the event.

Marriage is what brings us together today!

I (TheGrayShirt) was privileged to witness the marriage of Mr. Geoffrey Aka. "GEO" Andersen to his beautiful bride Megan Rupp Andersen. The couple have left for there honeymoon to steamboat Colorado. Upon there return they will reside in Logan, and Keep their current occupations. When they return make sure to congratulate the newlywed couple and wish them well in the start of their overly large family that they have planned. Good luck from the gray shirt!

Newest trend..... deer riding? sounds crazy i know but just trust me on this one. If you can get a picture of you on a deer like these such gentlemen it will be blogged!

He Speaks!

I'm glad after such a long wait that my co-writer has made his mark. However if you get offended by the stuff i write.....i really might not take it off......i mean sex sells right? Welcome to the page "25lb back". I am leaning into opening this to a open blog.... we will have to see though.

Come Ball it up on thurdays

A few of us get together on Thursday night and play basketball if anyone is interested in being able to beat on mike Vroman after hours this is the opportune time to do so.
We play at the Amalga church around 9pm till 11ish but come play anytime!

Announcing a new author to thegrayshirt!

So recently I haven't had all the free time as i would like and the workload of this blog has started to exceed my capacities, so I decided it was time for a co-owner of thegrayshirt.
This was a tough decision on who could represent "TheGrayShirt" in a way that gray shirts should and would be represented on this blog. After much consideration of the many candidates and reading over countless applications. I chose someone of divine intellect and magefull skills. He will be posting in the near future so keep you eyes open for the new kid on the block at TheGrayShirt!

I know you've heard it, now understand it.

So i know that so many of you out there have heard the words that are used so often, yet you have now idea what they mean. Well in this blog I will dare to entertain your minds with the definitions of these such words.

This months word: Mage

Well a mage is quite easy to define in that it simply is just a master of something. Some examples of mages that we work with......

Boedy- Definitely a Cleaning mage.
Joe- Demo mage.
Geo- Mage mage.
Tiffany- Hairspray mage.

I really hope that no one takes offense to the posts on my blog. I only am here to entertain and i think that the work area we are in is probably one of the relaxed groups of people that i have worked with. But if you have any problems with any of my posts i would ask you to comment on the blog and i will be happy to remove your name from the blog.

More Unnecessary Controversy

-"Wow.................Relating to the name wall. Who actually takes the time to create nicknames for all our fellow employees,(Plus there are nicknames that don't make any sense or relate to that person) There are a few originals that are OK i.e. Geoffrey - Geo. That has always been his nickname ever since he started alpine. Whoever posted this blog and took the time to make it obviously has way too much time on their hands. So how about instead of creating nicknames on your own take the original nicknames that people already have. If someone doesn't have one already then just leave their name off the list or ask them if it would be okay to crate a nickname for them. This way we won't have people upset (And I don't know if people are or aren't) The Alpine Blog is for people to post whatever they like, not to bash on one another. Some people can find it offensive so lets respect one another and be a team."


I can see that at least one person has taken offense to there Nickname and i would sincerely like to apologize to that person......Thing of it is this is most definitely not the "Alpine Blog" in which was spoken of in the quoted text. Also i will ask the owner of the "Alpine Blog" To remove my Piece of literature that was so offensive to this person.

Also i ask you, is this not offensive "Whoever posted this blog and took the time to make it obviously has way too much time on their hands." Even if i do have to much time on my hands is it really any of there concern? Ha ha i do have way to much time on my hands! But i really don't care! So thanks "Employee" for your comments keep them coming and continue to visit TheGrayShirt.Blogspot.com!

Two Brothers were lost this week.

Its a sad day when we lose some of our fellow coworkers and friends, but both moved on to other employment opportunities. We want to wish them the best in there new employments and hope to stay good friends with both of them.

Also in the news.....Nick Strong got a ticket.....

Our very own gray shirt Nick Strong was suckered into a ticket today by a north ogden city cop!!!! it was said that he was doing speeds of 15 in excess of the posted limit. Poor strangle don't give him a hard time about it.....I mean it has been blogged about, isn't that enough?
